Success Story: Joshua LeBrun

I would like to share a quick chat I had with Joshua, one of our graduated students, who is currently working as a 3D Artist at Dovetail Games

What course did you study?

Games Art (Masters).

What are you working on at the moment?

Currently working on a Train Sim World at Dovetail Games as a Route builder.

What work are you most proud of working on and was/is your most notable achievement?

I cannot really pick one piece of work as I have enjoyed most of them and feel like I achieved something in each one.

If you had to sum up your time at Escape Studios in one word, what would it be and why?

I wish I could go again as I really enjoyed it and extremely recommend it to anyone who wishes to further there skills in games art.

What lessons have you learnt during your time studying and your time working in Games?

Working as a team is the most imported thing.

What is your advice for those considering entering the industry?

If you put your mind too it and have the passion to strive, then you will easily make it. Also study hard, because that’s a big part 😀

What’s your favourite game and why?

My favourite game would be the Fallout Series. It was the first RPG I ever played (Fallout 3) and I instantly fell in love with, which also made me love the post apocalypse genre.

A huge thanks to Dovetail Games and Joshua for the interview.
